Bio – Lucia Lee

Lucia Lee has been a marketing and communications leader at Mount Sinai since 2001. During her time, she has guided a talented team of press officers and content experts in video and audio/podcasting who have elevated Mount Sinai to the top ranks of health systems as measured by mentions in top national press outlets. Lucia first joined Mount Sinai in 2001 during the merger with NYU and served as Assistant Director of Public Affairs at The Mount Sinai Medical Center from 2001-2007. She was recruited by St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (formerly a Mount Sinai affiliate) as a Marketing and Development Specialist from 2007-2011, and during her time there her role was expanded to include overseeing the Volunteer Department and managing a team of 60 volunteer staff. She rejoined Mount Sinai as Director of Media and Public Affairs in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Director in 2016. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, she was a leader in public relations at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases from 1999-2001.

 Lucia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass-Communications and a minor in International Relations from Boston University.
