Bio – Sadiqa Horne, RN, BSN

Sadiqa Horne joined Mount Sinai in 2000 as a Clinical Nurse. She has held several positions within the Mount Sinai Health System. Sadiqa joined Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice Access Center in 2015 as a Clinical Nurse Manager over Patient Referral Services.  She successfully implemented the Nurse Triage Program and Medication Refill line.

In 2018, Sadiqa was promoted to the Director of Access Center Operations and sequentially promoted in 2020 to the Senior Director of Operations for the Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice Access Center and Ambulatory Care Call Center. The Calls Centers are the primary access point of Mount Sinai’s providers and our health system.

Sadiqa oversees a team of over 400 which includes, Scheduling Coordinators, Clinical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Quality and Training, Managers and Supervisors. The Access Centers handle an average of 4 million calls a year, managing patient’s appointments, clinical concerns, coordination of care and navigating the Health System.

Sadiqa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
